This capping machine is equipped by robots to pick and place lids on tins. The rotary starwheel displaces the tins through several processing stations. The lid feeding is organized by vibratory bowl feeders sorting and transferring the lids to the lid guide tracks.

The machine is equipped with two robots having identical tasks. Each robot picks a lid from the lid guide track and goes to the position above its capping station.
Then each robot places the lid and presses it onto the tin to tighten the closure.
The machine is equipped with vibratory bowl feeders to ensure accurate, repeatable sorting and orienting of lids.
