The DGT Semi-Automatic Cartoning Machine combines automatic carton forming, manual product loading and hot melt adhesive sealing. Designed for bagged products such as cereals, it prepares cartons for loading, then closes and seals the filled packs.
Flat carton blanks are opened onto a lug-type conveyor and transferred to the loading station. Operators insert products supplied by a modular belt conveyor. The carton flaps are then folded, hot melt adhesive is applied, and the flaps are pressed together to secure the seal.
